Kathmandu.A complaint of extortion has been lodged with the police against Nepali cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane. Kitani filed a complaint at police circle Gaushala saying that a 17-year-old minor was raped by Lamichhane. According to the police, the incident took place on August 5. He reached the victim's hostel in a private car to pick her up. Sandeep, who came to pick her up in the afternoon, took her to Nagarkot for sightseeing. It was 10 o'clock at night when he returned after having lunch there.She said that the hostel closes at 8 pm. But Lamichhane ignored it and kept it till night. The victim says that he was raped twice at night when he came back to stay in a hotel in Kathmandu. The police conducted a medical examination of the victim on Tuesday.
